Oklahoma Redbud (Cercis canadensis ssp. texensis 'Oklahoma')

Oklahoma redbud is a wonderful understory tree with thick deep green glossy leaves that also does well in full sun. The flowers are reddish purple that blooms in clusters of tiny florets that appear before leaves emerge. The seedpods are flat with straight edges and mature from green to purple in the fall.
